Childhood

This photo reminds me of my childhood because I used to play the piano.

I made this when I was five years old in my kindergarten class.

This is where I spent my time-outs.

This was my dad's toy when he was little. It always scared me so we kept it hidden in the closet.

These are my dads ties. I used to like to sit below them and stare up at them. I would play games like trying to find the ugliest tie or seeing how long it would take to braid them all together.

This picture is pretty self-explanatory. It's some of the games I would play with my family.

We used to have two cats: Annie and Nicky. They died when I was five. The cats in the picture are napkin holders that my mom bought. The one on the left looks a little like Nicky and the one on the right looks a little like Annie.

This was my favorite book when I was little. I made my dad read it to me at least ten times.

This is a toy train.

This is my cousin Jake(not Jacob). He is 5. This is when we were celebrating Hanukkah together.

This is really close to my house so I pass it almost everyday. I saw this picture a million times but I never took it until now.

This is Tinkerbell on a cake at safeway. Disney has always been a big part of my life, in my childhood and definitely now.

Absolutely Green

The song "Absolutely Green" is from A Troll in Central Park, which has been one of my favorite movies since I was a little kid. The song is about making the world a better place with nature and how if you just believe in yourself, you can make the world more green. I took three photos that I thought best reflected the song's message and mood. I hope you like it. Here is a link to hear the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Rucm4XOoRs

Photos that were clearly not edited one bit...

This was taken in Hawaii. Its the ocean and a tree, if you couldn't tell. I hardly did anything to this picture because I just like the way it looks but the color is a little different. It's greener.

This is a pole and wires and the sky. At sunset. Not really.

This picture was taken behind pink sunglasses. I'm actually not kidding. I wanted to see what would happen. Unfortunately, it didn't change the colors that much so I went on picnik.com and made it pink. As pink as Darren Criss's sunglasses. I also softened it so it looks sort of glossy.

These are stairs. If you want to know what they actually look like, look at my first post. To get there, scroll to the bottom, click on older posts, and scroll to the bottom again. It's the first picture in the first post. Can you see the resemblance?

These are golf pencils.

This isn't that different from the original but it's brighter and more colorful.

This is a shadow of a person and a pole. But it was taken in a different dimension where the world is dark and shadows are light.

This was taken at the zoo. I thought it looked especially Valentine's-y. Anyone who doesn't like this picture because it's of chimpanzees needs to watch Tarzan. Right now. And if you still don't like apes, it means that you don't have a heart.

This is my friend Nora's dog, Riley. She is the perfect dog. She's sweet and loyal and friendly. But I guess a more accurate description would be "woman's best friend" but that wasn't as catchy.

This quote is from Charlotte's Web by E.B. White. He's awesome.
